Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Find and Replace add-on ("the Add-on") developed by Avin Anvari ("we", "us", or "our").
1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing or using the Add-on, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the Add-on.
2. Description of Service
Find and Replace is a Google Sheets™ add-on that allows users to batch copy Google Docs™ from a selected folder and replace placeholder text with values from a spreadsheet. The Add-on operates entirely within the Google Workspace™ environment.
3. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Add-on for personal or business purposes in accordance with these Terms.
4. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Ensuring you have the necessary rights to access and modify the documents you process with the Add-on.
- Maintaining the security of your Google account.
- Complying with all applicable laws and regulations when using the Add-on.
- Any content you create or modify using the Add-on.
5. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Add-on to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
- Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.
- Process documents you do not have permission to access or modify.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Add-on.
- Use the Add-on for any malicious or harmful purpose.
6. Intellectual Property
The Add-on and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Avin Anvari and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Add-on without our prior written consent.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Add-on is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that:
- The Add-on will meet your specific requirements.
- The Add-on will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
- The results obtained from using the Add-on will be accurate or reliable.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Avin Anvari shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
- Your use or inability to use the Add-on.
- Any errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies in the Add-on.
- Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your documents.
- Any other matter relating to the Add-on.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Avin Anvari from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Add-on or violation of these Terms.
10. Modifications to the Add-on
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Add-on at any time without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Add-on.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the Add-on after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
